Financial Peace University is a 13 week video based course which teaches you how to get control of your money. Best selling author Dave Ramsey presents personal finance in a way that is interesting and unique. You will learn a step by step process for getting out of and staying out of debt, how to make a monthly spending plan that works, and how to set financial goals and communicate about money.

Dave claims to have stolen his ideas from God and grandma and makes the case that what he teaches is an application of what Scripture teaches about money. That being the case, it is really good stuff.

The course begins January 10 and ends on April 3 of 2012. Meeting Tuesday nights from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The first class is free. Attend a class and check it out with no commitments. The course material is $93.00 US plus the cost of shipping. Typically that would be in the $100 plus range. It includes a workbook for the course, an audio CD collection of all 13 lessons and some bonus material, The FPU envelope system, Dave’s best selling book and a pile of other bonus material.
